Pastor Ivan, who became a follower of Jesus at the age of nineteen, nurtured a passion to understand the Bible and serving the Church. This fervor led him to serve as a pastor in the Chicagoland area for seventeen years. In 2021, he achieved a doctorate in New Testament studies from Northern Seminary. That same year, God guided him to New Life Church in Twin Lakes, which subsequently merged with Riverwood Church to establish Pathway. Ivan and his wife, Amy, have been married for over two decades and are blessed with three children: Grace, Wesley, and Elliot.
