Diane “Suzy” Reinholm, 71, died on December 5, 2024, in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin under the care of loving friends and St. Croix Hospice.
She was born in Pascagoula, Mississippi on July 26, 1953, to the late Forest Parker and Francis (Przbysz) Parker. When she was four years old her family moved to Whitewater, Wisconsin, where she grew up. She graduated from Palmyra High School.
She was united in marriage to the love of her life, John “Jack” Reinholm, in Williams Bay, Wisconsin on
January 2, 1993. He preceded her in death on December 21, 2021. Suzy was an optician since 1986 and self-employed at Lake Geneva Opticians since the year 2000. She enjoyed helping her customers select frames and appropriate lenses to enjoy a perfect fit.
Suzy was a member of Pathway Church, Burlington, Wisconsin, (f/k/a New Life Bible Church, Twin Lakes, WI and Riverwood Community Church, Burlington, WI) and was a woman of great faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She boldly shared her faith with family, friends, and customers whenever she could. She loved music and was a faithful member of the worship team at her home church and was a former member of the City of Lakes chorus of Sweet Adelines, International. Other interests included camping with friends in Rome, Wisconsin, reading, and being with those she loved. Suzy loved animals and had many household pets in the past. When she visited friends, their dogs would eagerly wait for the treat they knew Suzy had hidden for them in her pocket.
Survivors include her sister, Pat Schmitt, Yuba City, CA, Jack’s three children; Pamela Carlino, John Reinholm and Noah Reinholm; Jack’s three grandchildren, Allison, Katie and Rachel; and cousins, Janet Lesar, Mary Levall, and Rita Stapleton. She was also survived by her faithful dog Buddy. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her aunt and uncle, Tony and Amelia (nee Przbysz) Weiler.
A celebration of life will honor Suzy on January 11, 2025, at Pathway Church, 6919 McHenry Street, Burlington, Wisconsin 53105, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
